HTTC Hosts "Horror on Harmon"

United Tribes Technical College invites you to “Horror on Harmon,” two terrifying nights Friday and Saturday, October 27-28 on the college campus at 3315 University Drive in south Bismarck. “Horror on Harmon” resurrects the dead for a second year at UTTC in a creepy 100 year-old building. The tribal college campus is the site of Bismarck’s Fort Lincoln. “Horror on Harmon” is staged in the former post hospital that was used to treat soldiers before they went off to World War One. “’We pride ourselves on being the scariest haunted attraction in North Dakota,” says Tom Braun, event founder and producer. “We have more frights per square foot than any haunted attraction in the state.” Last year over 1,000 people attended the first “Horror on Harmon” at United Tribes. All proceeds go to a non-profit cause and this year they benefit UTTC student scholarships. “Horror on Harmon” is in its 17th consecutive year. Originally on Harmon Avenue in Bismarck, the spooky offerings made it too popular for a residential neighborhood. Braun begins preparing the event in Spring. More than 90 volunteers are involved in “making the dead rise,” says Braun. “It’s sure to be the creepiest haunted house around.” And clearly the least expensive. Admission is $5. UTTC Students are free for their first admission. Doors open at 7 p.m. Horror on Harmon may be too intense for children under 12. Support for “Horror on Harmon” Haunted House at United Tribes Technical College is provided by Bruno’s Pizza, Nightlife Limousine, Little Caesar’s Pizza, Ruby Tuesdays, Railway Credit Union, DK Orthodontics, UTTC Wellness Center, Hot 97.5 FM, 96.5 the Fox and 103.3 US Country, Townsquare Media Bismarck.
